Key Accountabilities:


  • Carry out, in accordance with the set programs, auditing of Metrojet Limited (MTJ) Technical Activities or agents-operated aircraft, facilities, related functions and procedures to ensure compliance with the MTJ procedures, support agreement and airworthiness authority’s standards and requirements for its aircraft types.
  • Reporting on all significant airworthiness and certification matters to the MQA as prescribed in the Metrojet Maintenance Procedures (MMP) Manual or Exposition.
  • Analyze the audit findings and results, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and monitor remedial actions for any reported deviation or discrepancy.
  • Raise accurate and concise technical reports after any investigation or audit.
  • Support the running of the company staff Authorisation and Training system, including staff assessment.
  • To bring to the attention of the MQA any trends or events that may affect the smooth running of the section or compromise the company’s compliance with the responsible National Airworthiness Authority’s (NAA) rules and regulations.
  • Conduct investigations into significant defects and/or incidents/accidents related to the quality and standards of all MTJ aircraft and those of its customers.
  • Maintain proper cooperation and liaison with other groups within the Quality Assurance and CAMO Sections to ensure that all aspects of the CAMO Department are operating as intended.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and controlling MTJ technical documents, such as MMPs, MOE, RSM, and TPM, or any procedures as required.
  • Supervise, train (O.J.T), and guide all staff members who may be placed under their control.
  • Carry out maintenance capability self-assessment and support application from appropriate NAAs.
  • Other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.


Job Specifications



  • Qualified with a bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in aircraft engineering and quality assurance.
  • Holder of valid HKCAD License or equivalent in base maintenance level environment, desirable.
  • Completed Lead Auditor training and possess some investigation techniques (such as MEDA).
  • Knowledgeable in MS Word and Excel with computer usage is a MUST.
  • Be capable of making sound technical/regulatory judgments and fully comprehend aviation audit procedures and techniques.
  • Able to multi-task and communicate in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Lead Engineer, Quality Assurance and Safety.
